Our hire of Matt Scott as VP, Strategic Development could not have come at a better time. Matt will drive our go to market strategy and lead the charge for Crowdtap in building out the customer development and partnership team and working with our customers to help them drive ongoing value from the Crowdtap platform. So all those agencies and brands awaiting our follow up, we will be getting back to you in the coming weeks.

A seasoned industry veteran, Matt brings a deep expertise to Crowdtap from both the adtech, brand and agency perspectives. Most recently Matt was a founding member and Director of Business Development for AdSafe. Prior to AdSafe, Matt got his MBA at Stern and served on the agency side at BBDO and MediaVest Group where he played critical roles in the marketing of leading global brands such as Proctor & Gamble, Gillette, Kraft Foods and New Balance.

Crowdtap Names Matthew Scott Vice President of Strategic Development
Scott to drive growth of on-demand consumer collaboration platform
NEW YORK – March 29, 2011 – Crowdtap, the first on-demand consumer participation network, today announced Matthew Scott as its vice president of strategic development, a new position at the company. Scott will be responsible for driving Crowdtap’s go-to-market strategy and will lead the customer sales and partnership team.
“Matt’s agency and brand knowledge paired with his experience driving strategy in the AdTech space made him a perfect fit,” said Brandon Evans, Crowdtap CEO. “He understands the rapidly evolving needs of brands, how to best partner with agencies and how to drive revenue in the AdTech space. Prior to joining Crowdtap, Scott was a founding team member and director of business development for AdSafe Media, a leading display advertising technology platform. Scott joined AdSafe as a venture associate with Coriolis Ventures, an early-stage venture capital and incubation fund.
In previous positions Scott managed digital and traditional media strategy for several iconic global brands, including Proctor & Gamble, The Gillette Company, Kraft Foods and New Balance, at Omnicom Group’s BBDO New York and Publicis’s Starcom MediaVest Group.
